Our website is devoted to our personal dogs who form a huge part of our family - it is a work in progress. Our aim is not only to provide information about who we are and what we are 'about' but more importantly to provide information regarding the breeds we cherish and are involved in for those who may be considering owning a ROWENGLEN puppy.
We actually do not and never have had 'kennels'. Our personal dogs are family members and pets first, show/performance dogs second and every dog we own are considered much loved family members.
Here at Rowenglen we raise each litter as lovingly as we raise our own human children, they are members of our family from birth in the truest sense of the word and we will always spend as much time as it takes to find our babies the right loving forever homes.
All pet/companion puppies are DESEXED before leaving our care.
Here at Rowenglen we pride ourselves on being both responsible AND ethical breeders. We do not condone or support backyard breeders or puppy farms/mills and therefore we will only ever sell DESEXED puppies to pet and performance homes.
We have a responsibility firstly to our puppies and secondly to members of the general public to ensure that no puppy of ours ever becomes part of the increasingly concerning problem we face currently with shelters full of unwanted, poorly bred dogs coming from unregistered backyard breeders and puppy farms.
We never place any puppy of any breed with a family unless we know enough about the family to assure ourselves the needs of the puppy will be met long term and to assure ourselves that the ‘fit’ is the best we are able to possibly achieve for the puppy, the family and the breed itself.
We make no apologies for putting the well being of our puppies first and that involves us asking you LOTS of questions before considering you as a possible suitable home.
We only bring puppies in to this world when we wish to keep something for ourselves and when we have done all we can to via health testing to ensure they will be the healthiest (mentally and physically) and nicest examples of their breed.
We guarantee the health of all our puppies in writing for life.
We appreciate and support each family who chooses one of our puppies and let them know they are now a part of our extended family by making ourselves available 24/7 for the remainder of that puppies life.
We will always take back any puppy we have bred if needed and/or assist with its re-homing should your circumstances change.
We will aggressively pursue the return of any of our dogs if it’s found to be in the wrong place.
We share our knowledge and are happy to to discuss the breeds we are involved in at length with you - no obligation. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have regarding the breed you are interested in generally or to gain further understanding and information regarding hereditary health issues and current health testing that is available.
Our dogs are the best advertisement of our dedication to the breeds we are involved in.
The price we charge for our puppies is never profit but always a direct investment in firstly meeting the cost of producing and raising the current litter and secondly an investment in the next generation.
We work hard at being the best breeders we can be and encouraging others to be the same.
